Logistic services for Aconcagua expeditions

For groups of experienced mountain climbers that want to have a private expedition.

For mountain guides with private groups that need to hire services.

For companies that send groups to Aconcagua and don’t count with their own logistic.

Each expedition requieres services and essential facilities and our goal is to provide all you need to have a successful ascent.

We count with two packages that include all that is neccessary for the Aconcagua ascent. It is and integral service that contemplates each link in the service chain needed for your expedition.

You can also hire individual services, we recommend to book all services at a same place to assure the efficiency in all the service chain.

Our logistic center is in Mendoza. From there we operate and supply all our camps. Its a comfortable space where you can pack goods for mule transportation and be in touch with us for any advice you may need.

In case you you don’t pass through Mendoza and go directly to Penitentes, we also count with people of our team to advice and provide whatever is needed. Passengers will be able to store the equipment that isn’t used in the mountain since they will return to the same spot when descending.

From Penitentes we also coordinate with the helicopter company for evacuation or private charters in case necesarry.

ACCOMODATION FOR ALL NIGTHS

2 nights in Mendoza, hotel NH 4* or Diplomatic 5* with breakfast included (double base).
2 nights at Penitentes, Ayelén hotel with half pension.
At the hotels they receive our passangers with exclusive treatment , being very flexible with check in -out, equipment storage and specially in the inmediate needs a passenger that is evacuated from Aconcagua could have.

Instalations and services at base camp

Complete breakfast, lunch and dinner compliments of our chef are served with reserve wine and cortesy Champagne the last night.

Dining tents equiped with thermal isolation, wooden floors, 220V electricity and 50Hz for charging multiple devices (camaras, ipods, computers), Free WiFi, chairs, tables. We also provide a comfortable heated living room for reading or resting and a beverage table for enjoying after dinner.

Security material: VHF radio and satelite internet for communications (phone calls available) and high altitude first aid kit.

Showers: Exclusive tent with 2 hot water showers, free for our guests.

High density mattresses for a comfortable and necessary rest.

Movistar antena (at Plaza de Mulas and up to 6.000m) We recommend to buy a Movistar chip in order to send messages and pictures to your family and friends.

Assistance for paying and obtaining the Aconcagua Ascent Permit.
Weather forecast every day for your security and tranquility.
Permanent assistance during the expedition. We are a company from Mendoza and we have communication and contact with several strategic points in case any problem should occur. Our team will support you in every moment.
At Mendoza we have a gear rental (the only one in Mendoza that supplies high quality equipment). From 9.30 to 16.00hs you will find Griselda in order to rent whatever you need, ask her for advice or pay services.

Counts with:

Mules for transportation of personal equipment: includes 30kg per person, from Penitentres to Plaza Argentina, from Plaza Argentina to Penitentes. Afterwards, from Penitentes to Plaza de Mulas and from Plaza de Mulas to Penitentes.
Food and Beverage: 4 days of full pension in Plaza Argentina and 1 day of full pension in Plaza de Mulas.

Counts with:

Mules for transportation of personal equipment: includes 10kg per person, from Penitentres to Confluencia, 30kg per persona from Penitentes to Plaza de Mulas and 30kg from Plaza de Mulas to Penitentes.
Food and Beverage: 2 days of full pension in Confluencia. Box lunch in Penitentes and 5 days of full pension in Plaza de Mulas.

The value of the assambeled packages starts U$D 1.850 (minimum 6 people)

Full service

In both cases we count with the Full service, that besides proving all mentioned before also includes:

A high mountain tent for 2 people.

Full pension in high camps (all food will be delivered at base camp).

Expedition porters: they transport tents (inludes putting them up), cooking elements and food for all high camps.

We are 2 Argentines, Heli and Mauri and a Swiss, Kari Kobler, three mountain guides that united efforts to create Aconcagua Vision.

We have more than 35 years of individual experience that we merged to provide and integral service taking care of each link of the chain of services necesarry for the expedition, most of these services or self owned.

How do I pay?

Payment is made through bank transfer/wire.

Cancellation policy

If you have to cancel , 100% of the advance deposit (Partial payment) will be re-imbursed if you cancel 30 days before the start of the expendition. If you notify cancellation between 29 and 15 days prior to the initiation of the expedition we will reimburse 50% of the advance deposit. If cancellation occurs less than 14 days prior to starting of the expedition no reimburse applies.
